CIVIC CENTRE, WILLOW ROOM
This is our second gig at the Civic Centre in corby, but this time it was in the smaller room - The Willow Room -
This was our second gig with Scott, and this time...we were all worried because of how badly the gig at the police bar had gone. Also, the crowds were building up, but most people were there to go to the "Ramp Rock" fest which was upstairs at the same venue. Luckily, the bands who were playing went around outside speaking to the people, to try and convince them to come in...but seemed very unsucessful.
To our suprise as the doors open, the crowd came round, and the room started to fill up, i think at the end there were about 10 tickets left.
anyway, down to the paying...we were amazing to be honest! we had a massive crowd, and everyone seemed to like our songs...and we didnt muck up at this one...Will just stood on his cabel and pulled it outta his bass! but that was sorted. The crowd loved our cover songs, but even more than that, the crowd seemed to love our own songs...this, i think was one of the "great gigs" we were told about.
Oh yea...we even got a friend of the band...Kelvin! (The bassists best mate) to jump on stage and strip for us!
