This has been the first gig for a while, and the first gig with our new drummer, Scott.
We found out about this gig about 3 weeks before the date line, and with a new set of songs lined up, that went well at our practises we were all prepared for it, and were confident about playing well.
The first song went well, but as the set went onwards, the bands playing seemed to go futher and futher downhill...it was a great shock to us as a whole that we were playing this badly.
We do blame ourselvs for it,but we also believe that some of the reasoning behind us not doing so well was because of how the equipment was set up, as everything was going direct through the PA system, without a channel before, so there were no variation in the volume.
The effect of this was very sour on all of the band. Each member went wrong, and we all dissapointed, but we still kept strong, because ourselvs and a large group of people know we can play well...as we were told when we played our first gigs...every band has there good, there great, and there terrible...for us, this was our first, of hopfully very little terrible gigs.
