KEYSTONE

Firstly, the organisers put us down as "Two Minute Hate" this is because Kalums old band had that name, and the organiser got mixed up, so if you were there, Two Minute Hate was really "Final Blueprint" (US!!!)
On Saturday 12th July 2003, Final Blueprint had their first gig, it was at the Keystone Youth Centre in Kettering, Northants (UK). We were due to go on at 4:30, but we ended up starting our set at about 5ish!
For this set, for the first gig, we wanted to get people interested in us, so we did a more Pop/Punk setlist, with songs that people know and like, mixed a long with some of our more punk/rock songs.

The set list that we did on the day, is as follows; - Rock Show (Blink 182 Cover) - Turn To Him (Final Blueprint Own) - When I Come Around (Greenday Cover) - On My Own (Final Blueprint Own) - Dammit (Blink 182 Cover) - Picture Of You (Final Blueprint Own)

Judging by the crowds reaction throughout, and during each song, the our whole band got gradually mor and more confident...the cheers grew louder, and peeple aplauded more and more, even some of the skaters on the ramp at the back of the venue stopped skating tpo listen to us. On top of that, a lot of the people there enjoyed listening to our own songs more than the covers that we did. As far as i could tell, "On My Own" was the most popular song that we did.

It is a fast happy/feel good song so im not suprised! We are planning on doing a lot more gigs in the near future, we have got one lined up at "The Charlotte" in Leicester,
but we are not yet sure of the date or time, but we will let you know as soon as we know ourselvs. We are also organising our own Gig, where we are going to try and raise money for the Lakelands Hospise in Corby. Please come along to both of these gigs if you can, because all support is greatly apreciated, and we are also changing our set list to make it more personaly for the band, with more songs of our own, including an Emo style song, Which is a nice slow, soppy song for all you lovers, and a happy style fast moving ska song!
